The Critter

The smallest of the HMC race routes, this 8.2km race distance still packs in 500m of vert in the race to the base of West Peaks huge grey face and down.  It's as direct as you can get, with just under 4km of uphill to get you onto Disa Gorge, followed by a short traverse and then a furious descent to the finish.
